Rautaruukki acquired Heléns Stål AB, a steel service company that operates in Sweden and Denmark, on 18 April 2001. Heléns Stål’s name was changed to Asva AB. The deal is designed to strengthen the division’s position as a provider of steel and metal products and prefabrication services in the Nordic countries.
